Online, or in person, Ali provides ongoing individual and relational coaching sessions to clients. Sessions are typically tailored to each person’s unique needs and can cover areas like career growth, relationships, and personal development.
60-90 min sessions
Couples Therapy
Online or in-person, Ali provides ongoing couples therapy appointments for couples who wish to deepen intimacy and connection and stop hurting one another. Couples therapy is an investment in your most meaningful relationship.
90 min sessions
Training
Ali offers training and consultation to therapists who wish to go into private practice. Ali provides all the information you’d need to know, including business setup, client forms, and marketing strategies. Individual Therapy
Ali provides weekly or biweekly individual mental health counseling. Clients participate in counseling with a desire to resolve any issues preventing them from experiencing fulfillment in life. Many clients come to Ali out of a desire to resolve or recover from:
post traumatic stress (PTSD) and complex post traumatic stress (C-PTSD)
high stress/burn out and anxiety
feeling stuck, overburdened or lost
depression, emotional pain or grief
dissatisfaction in the areas of career, relationships or life overall
codependency, people-pleasing
perfectionism, dependency on external validation
issues with self confidence
trauma from abusive relationships
Ali has advanced post-graduate training in several compassionate and effective treatment modalities that go beyond traditional talk-therapy. These include:
Transactional Analysis: A framework of personality that provides clients with a deeper understanding of their relationship with themselves and others. Clients will have the opportunity to reparent their own “inner-child” in ways that they weren’t parented. This paves the way for trauma healing and growth.
Redecision Therapy: Ali is a certified Redecision Therapist. Redecision therapy is a method that gives clients the ability to quickly identify and resolve unconscious trauma that is currently interfering with their having a satisfactory life. Clients will be given the opportunity to update and resolve old childhood wounds and issues. This method combines Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral and Gestalt therapy for transformative positive change.
Trauma Resolution Energy Therapy (TRET): The phrase “the body keeps score” rings true when we think about how trauma is stored in the body. This is true for traumatic events and traumatic patterns experienced over the course of time. TRET is a form of energy psychology aimed at clearing distress and energy blocks resulting from trauma from the body.
Personality-Focused Treatment: Ali is a certified Personality-Focused therapist. Psychotherapy tailored to fit the personality of the individual is always more effective. Take the Joines- Personality Adaptation Questionnaire or JPAQ (personality test) and Ali will help you learn about your unique combination of the six personality adaptations.
Gestalt Therapy: Change occurs on an emotional level. Gestalt therapy or “chair work” is an experiential method that enables clients to tap into their emotions on a deeper level. This provides clients with much more information than simply thinking about the problem would.
Emotional Freedom Technique: Essentially, EFT is acupuncture without the needles. Tap on specific pressure-points on the face to relieve distressing emotions in the moment. This method is incredibly helpful for trauma survivors and individuals with anxiety.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is an important investment in your most meaningful relationship. Ali provides weekly therapy for couples who are stuck and are wanting more from their relationship. Couples therapy is designed to help you uncover the ways in which you may be blocking yourself (outside of your awareness) from experiencing the connection and emotional intimacy you want. You will have the opportunity to turn things around, stop hurting one another and enter into a joy-filled and supportive relationship.
Ali has training from the Couples Institute using The Bader-Pearson Developmental Couples Counseling Model. She also utilizes techniques learned from her extensive training the Southeast Institute for Group and Family Therapy.
